TREATED LUMBER
Come see the difference. Johnson Lumber’s environmentally friendly treated lumber is the best looking stuff anywhere. Most of our treated lumber is made from the finest southern yellow pine and treated with the PhibroWood preservative system. We carry lengths from 8 to 20 foot and delivery is FREE.
COMPOSITE DECKING
With five lines of in-stock composite decking, Johnson Lumber has the right product for you. With brands like Trex, TimberTech, Azek, Evergrain and Correct Deck, you know you’re getting the best from the best.
WOOD DECKING
Besides having the best looking treated decking, we carry Ipe’ and cedar species decking boards. Ipe is a Brazilian hardwood that is beautiful and naturally resists decay. Ipe’ will weather to a silver patina if left natural. Use Messmers UV Plus for Hardwood Decks if you want to maintain the rich natural color. This is a dense wood making it seem hard as a rock. The installer will go through some saw blades. We suggest ordering it with a groove on each edge for attaching a hidden fastener. This beats having to pre-drill all the surface fasteners and makes for a nice look. Cedar generally comes from the rainy Pacific Northwest. This rain has caused cedar to make its’ own natural preservative. Cedar is stable softwood that is not very dense. This is much easier on the saw blades. A water repellant finish and semi-transparent stains are recommended to maintain beauty and durability.
OUTDOOR RAILING
We have an extensive selection of outdoor railing from Endurance and Azek Premier for your deck or front porch. Endurance is a vinyl rail made from the highest quality materials and Johnson Lumber stocks a comprehensive inventory of rail and post. Azek Premier is a composite rail that offers the beauty and feel of real wood coupled with high durability and low maintenance. Johnson Lumber stocks white in both these products and can quickly get colors in a few days. In addition, rail options from Trex, Timbertech, Decorators, Fairway and Woodway cedar are either in stock or available is just a few day
OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Set the mood on your deck with our several options of outdoor lighting. Aurora Deck Lighting with low voltage and solar lighting. Millennium Collection post lights and Illuminations lighted decorative balusters from Dekor are dramatic accents to any deck. Timberetech’s Decklites are low voltage post cap and accent light that make a great finishing touch to a Timbertech rail; it can also easily be retrofitted to an existing Timbertech rail.
Piece of advice: Solar lighting has gotten better but is still far from perfect reliability. If you can, use low voltage lighting. It is more reliable, has a better assortment of options and the light color is usually a warmer tone.
SCREENING
If you are screening in a porch, we have 36”, 48”, 60” and 72” screening in charcoal fiberglass, bright aluminum, black aluminum, and charcoal aluminum. Plus pet screening and even 96” wide for special applications. For installing this screening, the Sheerline Screen Clad system completely covers all porch components – both inside and out providing a low maintenance attractive screen porch. It works for existing and new porches. We carry the Screentight screening installation system as another option for maintenance free and easy screen installation. Our heavy wood screen doors are the best around. We also stock vinyl screen doors from Screentight.
